REGISTRATION OF PROFESSIONALS, TECHNICIANS AND PRACTICING/CONSULTING FIRMS
Under the provision of part III of the Act No. 23 of 2007, a person shall be recognized and entitled to practice as a procurement and supplies professional or technician if that person is duly registered under the Act.
According to the Act No. 23 of 2007, the Board maintains the following registers: -
- Register for Procurement and Supplies Professionals
Persons eligible to be registered in the category of procurement and supplies professionals must be a person who is the holder of CSP, CPSP, CIPS, degree, advanced diploma or other related awards.
- Register for Procurement and Supplies Technicians
Persons eligible to be registered in the category of procurement and supplies technicians must be a person who is the holder of Professional I or II, diploma or certificate or other related awards.
Registration Procedures
A person, who wishes to obtain registration under the PSPTB Act, shall submit an application in a prescribed form to the Executive Director accompanied by: -
- A certified copy or copies of certificates for academic qualifications of the applicant.
- An application fees as may be prescribed.
- Such other documents containing information as may be required by the Board.
Continued Professional Development (CPD)
This conditionality is part of membership requirements.
