Examination and Application
A person who wishes to sit for Board’s Examination, should fill two forms namely;
- Application for Candidacy Registration
- Application for Examination and Exemption
CANDIDACY REGISTRATION FORM
This form intends to assist the Board to analyse eligibility of the Candidate to sit for Board’s Examinations in the specified level.
The form should be filled and submitted to the Board not later than 28th February or 31st August for May and November examinations respectively.
All information requested on the form should be filled
Payments should be made through the indicated Bank Accounts
Copies of attached certificates must be certified by a Lawyer
EXAMINATION AND EXEMPTION APPLICATION FORM
This form is filled and submitted to the Board not later than 1st March and 15th September for May and November examinations respectively.
Payments should be made through Board’s Bank Account indicated in the form
No applications shall be accepted after 31st March and 30th September for May and November examinations respectively.
All information requested in the form must be filled together with all required attachments
Copies of academic certificates must be certified by authorized lawyer
- Basic Procurement and Supply Certificate (BPSC)
This program is divided into stages I and II aimed at producing stores clerks, artisans or helpers.
- Foundation Level
The programme has been divided into stage II, aimed at producing purchasing and supplies technicians and I.
- Professional Level
The program is divided into five stages, Stage I to Stage V. On successful completion on both stages a candidate is required to write a Research Paper. This level is geared towards producing graduates who are capable to work at both middle level and senior managerial positions. The programme consists of professional subject at each level together with supporting subjects. Carefully integrated to equip the students with the desire knowledge and skills.

ENTRY QUALIFICATION
The Board has set Minimum Entry Requirements, which will guide a candidate to determine the examination entry point based on prior qualifications obtained earlier. The minimum entry qualifications have been provided for all examination levels of Professional Diploma, Graduate Professional, and CPSP. A candidate shall be deemed eligible for consideration for admission to any examination level ifhe/she meets one of the following qualifications:
Professional Diploma I – Entry Qualifications
(a) Basic certificate issued by the Board or National Business Education level III (NABE III) issued by VETA with at least form four bearing three principal passesin a single sitting.
(b) Certificate (NTA 4) in either procurement and supply programs, procurement and logistics programs, procurement and supply management, or transport and logistic programs.
(c) Ordinary Diploma (NTA6) other than procurement and supply programs or transport and logistic programs.
(d) Certificate of competence for the basic certificate in procurement and supply programs issued by the Board.
(e) Any other professional qualifications recognized by the Board as equivalent to a certificate in procurement and supply programs.
Professional Diploma II – Entry Qualifications
(a) ProfessionalDiploma I, or
(b) Foundation stage I issued by the Board.
Graduate Professional I – Entry Qualifications
(a) Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply programs or Procurement and Supplies Management Foundation Certificate issued by the Board.
(b) Ordinary Diploma/ (NTA 6) in Procurement and Supply programs or Procurement and Logistics programs.
(c) Bachelor Degree other than procurement and supply programs.
(d) Certificate of Professional Competence for professional Diploma issued by the Board.
(e) Any other professional qualifications recognized by the Board as equivalent to a Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply programs.
Graduate Professional II – Entry Qualifications
(a) Graduate Professional I, or
(b) Professional I issued by the Board
Graduate Professional III – Entry Qualifications
(a) Graduate Professional II, or
(b) Professional II issued by the Board
CPSP I - Entry Qualifications
(a) Graduate Professional Certificate in Procurement and Supply Management or Professional III issued by the Board.
(b) Bachelor Degree or (NTA 8) in Procurement and Supply programs, Procurement and Logistics Management, and Procurement and Supply Management.
(c) Certificate of competence for Graduate Professional in Procurement and Supply Management programs issued by the Board.
(d) Any other professional qualifications recognized by the Board as equivalent to Graduate Professional Certificate in Procurement and Supply programs.
