Qualification

Basic Procurement and Supply (BPSC)

(i) Form IV or equivalent with passes in 3 subjects including English, Mathematics or Commercial subjects.

(ii) NABE stage I

(iii) Business Studies or Commercial studies at elementary stages

(iv) Any other qualification recognized by the Board as equivalent

Procurement and Supply Management Foundation Certificate (PSMFC)

(i) Form IV or equivalent with passes in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics.

(ii) Form VI Certificate.

(iii) Pre-Foundation and Basic Storekeeping Certificates issued by NBMM with 3 passes at "O" Level.

(iv) Form IV horder with the following:-
Advanced Certificate in Stores Supervision CIPS.
Certificate in Stores by Institute of Supply Management (USA).
Lower Stores Management Certificate issued by Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC).
Full NABE with 5 subjects passed.
Basic Procurement and Supply Certificate from PSPTB.

(v) Basic Certificate, NTA 4/5 in Procurement and Supply.

(vi) Any other qualifications recognized by the Board.

Professional Stage I

(i) Foundation Certificate in Materials Management issued by NBMM or equivalent.

(ii) Ordinary Diploma in Business Administration Materials Management, Purchasing and Supply Management.

(iii) Higher Stores Management issued by Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC) with 3 passes at Form IV.

(iv) Any other recognized 1st Degree or equivalent other than Materials Management, Logistics, Procurement and Supply Management specialization.

(v) Diploma - NTA 6 Procurement and Supply Management.

(vi) Any other qualification recognized by the Board.

Professional Stage II

(i) Stage I successfully completed.

(ii) NMMD Part I.

Professional Stage III

(i) Stage II successfully completed.

(ii) National Materials Management Diploma.

(iii) Higher Diploma in Procurement and Supplies Management (related discipline) (NTA 7)

Professional Stage IV

(i) Advanced Diploma/ Degree/ NTA 8 in Procurement and Supply, Materials Management, Logistics, procurement and supply management or its equivalent from recognized institutions.

(ii) Stage III successfully completed.

(iii) 1st Degree in Procurement and Supply, Materials Management, Logistics Management or equivalent.

Professional Stage V

(i) Stage IV successfully completed.
